Desperately Praying for our Youth

Hello family, I came across this young man's story this morning. This is one of many, but I wanted to post this one. Below is a small glimpse of what is being reported to have happened that lead to this young man's death. Another parent has to bury their son. For what? As our Pastor said in a message some time ago, these young people are out here killing each other like they can wake them up later. Senseless and sad is what it is. This could be your son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, or father. He was a father and now, another child has to grow up without a father. The cycle continues.

If we keep this up, the only black history our culture will know and remember is of US killing and mistreating each other. If this is history, I don't want to remember.

This happened off Old National Highway which many of us are familiar with. This is why I am urging us to keep our YOUTH OVERALL, but in these times especially our young black men in prayer. As I said in the last post our young black men are dying at the hands of our young black men.

STORY: Headline: Young father drives ‘friend’ to gas station. Friend turns around and shoots him to death, steals car.

A mother is pleading with the public for any information to help find her son’s killer. Vanessa George’s 23-year-old son, Jaden George, was shot by someone he rode to a gas station with. It happened Feb. 1 around 9:30 p.m. at the Shell Gas and Food Mart on Old National Highway and Godby Road. College Park Police say George was shot multiple times as he approached the car he arrived at the gas station in. The car then left the scene.

---> This part of the story really hurt my heart. "George (the mother) says Jaden was shot near pump 10 at this Shell Gas station. She says she learned he drove to the location with people he knew."

GOD, WE PRAY HE WAS SAVED. WE PRAY HE KNEW YOU. WE PRAY HE HAD A LITTLE RIGHTEOUSNESS because a little righteousness is better than none. -Psalm 37:16.

Remember, "blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."

Matthew 5:8 (KJV)

Moment of self-reflection: Is your PURE?

Yes, there are so many other things we need and should be praying for, but if you will join me TODAY in unity and say a prayer for the mother and all the parents of those who have lost their kids to senseless killings of all kinds. It's the one thing we can do together, and the enemy can't do anything about it! There is power in UNITY! Amen!
